This is the second incarnation of The Everyday Cafe. I blogged about food and cooking here for a couple years on and off, then got busy and burned out and tore down my blogs. In June 2010 I decided to get serious about low-carb eating, for health and weight control. This new way of eating has given me so much energy I want to blog about it.
I am in my early forties, married with three kids (ages 14, 10, and 7), and am in my last year of a doctoral program in applied statistics and psychometrics at the University of Denver. I blog about my professional interests at Anne Z. I used to work as a pro blogger; I wrote about emerging technology at GigaOM and new ways of working at Web Worker Daily. Now I blog just because I enjoy it.
